CASIC UAVs are Chinese UAVs developed by China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation CASIC, which includes several different types of UAVs. ==Eaglet 3A== Eaglet 3A (Xiao-Ying 3A or Xiaoying 3A, 小鹰3A in Chinese) is a fixed-wing UAV in conventional layout developed by Beijing (China Aerospace System Simulation Technology Co., Ltd. (中国航天科工系统仿真科技有限公司) ) of China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation. Eaglet 3A is primarily developed as a mean to assist locating missing people in mountains, particularly in adverse weather, and it has been deployed by mountain rescue teams in Sichuan. Eaglet 3A is in conventional layout with tricycle landing gear, and propulsion is provided by a two-blade propeller driven by a piston engine mounted in the nose.
